A Bay Area resident since the mid-1980s, he has held finance leadership roles in the tech industry, including a decade as CFO for early-stage startups. Deeply connected to Los Altos, where his two sons graduated from public schools, Shabber has also contributed to the community through nonprofit board service, supporting initiatives for women in recovery and promoting the visual arts.

When he’s not working, Shabber enjoys adventure travel with his wife, playing pickleball, and following European soccer.
